About Supermao:

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, two brothers – a composer and a writer – were both stuck in lockdown in two different cities. Not knowing how else to kill time during quarantine, they came up with Superspreader of Love, the unofficial song of the coronavirus pandemic. (Btw, anyone know who made the official song? Shakira as usual?)

The two brothers decided to call the project behind “Superspreader of Love” Supermao. But what is that? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a typo? – No, Supermao means “super drunk” in Thai. Because that’s what we do. We drink, and we make music.

How it's going:

In late Spring 2022, Hashtag Good (Hey There) was released, Supermao's second single – a life-affirming, feel-good alt pop song about enjoying life, hanging out with friends, having a few beers in the process, and generally being all-around useless (but in a good way).
